Guide was super nice and helpful, didn’t completely take over every reel but helped you when you needed it. Was also very knowledgeable and easy to ask questions. Me and my family had a great time.

We recently had the pleasure of going on a 4-hour charter fishing trip with Captain Ronnie while on a cruise and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Ronnie made us feel welcome. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. He took us out where the fish were biting almost instantly. My 17-year-old daughter even caught a four foot black nose shark! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just looking for a fun time on the water, I can’t recommend this charter enough. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement — a highlight of our cruise! We’ll definitely be booking again with Captain Ronnie the next time we’re in town!

I highly recommend Catch Dog Fishing! We did a near shore shark excursion, and Captain Ronnie was wonderful! We had 4 adults and two children, ages 9 and 12. He was so patient and helpful with the kids! We caught many small sharks, one large (about 6 foot shark), and many small croakers and whiting! We ALL had a blast. I highly recommend Catch Dog Fishing and Ronnie!

Captain Ronnie is so knowledgeable and such a friendly dude. We went for our first fishing trip for our boy’s 13th birthday and it was a perfect introduction into fishing! Not only did they catch several small fish but two blacknose sharks and a 200lb BULL SHARK. It was insane! Captain Ronnie knew every fish, and exactly what to do and how to explain things to the kiddos and he helped a ton with reeling in the big ones. What a treat it was! The boys said they want to go out with Captain Ronnie again before the summer is over. I highly recommend! 10/10 experience for everyone.

We booked a 4 hour trip and had the best time ever. The boat was very clean and comfortable. The Captain kept us on some fish and we caught 3 sharks which was a blast! The Captain was very hands on and helped us when needed. Our grandchildren, ages 5 & 3, had a great time as well. It was so much fun seeing the happiness on their faces when they caught some fish. My grandson caught a sea trout, the only one of the day. They both loved it so much they wanted to go back the next day. We did book another trip for October. We highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Ronnie.

Jon, Ken, and I had a great, productive deep sea fishing trip in September!! Caught some huge Vermillion Snapper. We filled the freezer!! Captain Ronnie was a professional fish finder. He put us on the spot every time.. incredible trip! You need to book him!

Capt. Ronnie is the real deal. I drew a highly sought after Red Snapper permit with a limited time frame to capitalize on it. Capt. Ronnie kept me up to date with the recent catch reports and conditions. His boat the ‘Catch Dog’ offered plenty of space for comfort and shade to get out of the sun. Capt. Ronnie was wasn’t joking when he said he knew the *spot and he did! In no time we had some awesome snapper chilling on ice and we were headed to the blue water for Mahi. He had that dialed in too and we soon had Mahi to add to the cooler. It was a great trip with a capable vessel and a knowledgeable captain. Thanks, Catch Dog!

Captain Ronnie met all of our expectations and then some he was very knowledgeable, personable and a great guide to be with When we fish again out of Port Canaveral, we will definitely choose him. Absolutely had the most awesome experience with Captain Ronnie. Caught Amberjack, barracuda, etc. Captain Ronnie was very kind and patient and so knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions, and really made us feel very comfortable. Capt. Ronnie knows the local waters and where to catch fish. I have fished with him several times. On the last two trips we caught giant Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, 2 Scamp Grouper, a Black Grouper, 2 Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Tuna, Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, Amberjack, Almaco jacks, Barracuda, and saw plenty of sharks. Capt. Ronnie will do his best to put you on the fish! Capt. Ronnie is great with kids and gets excited when they catch fish. The boat is big and wide and makes for an easy ride with plenty of room for fishing. If one type of fish is not biting, Capt. Ronnie will “change it up” and go for something else. If the bottom fishing is slow or you have caught your limit, Capt. Ronnie will drop the outriggers and go trolling for striking fish. Catch Dog Sportfishing Charters …. it doesn’t get any better than this!!!

Great experience. Caught six sharks in 4 hours. Spent the rest of the time reeling in 15-20 smaller fish each. Nothing but good to say.

We booked a 4 hour trip on a short notice with Captain Ronnie, he put us right on the shark. Ronnie is positive, respectful and a genuine fisherman. We had a really good time, caught 3 sharks and countless small fish. We will be going back in October for a longer trip.

Incredible experience with Catch Dog today. My son and I caught so many sharks on our trip that we still can’t believe it. We booked the 4 hour Shark trip and it was plenty of time for us to experience everything. Captain Ronnie was friendly, very professional and he is very good with kids. The boat was shaded and comfortable. He kept the boat clean the whole time. Our shark was a monster and put up an amazing fight but we pulled it up. We can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend Captain Ronnie and the Catch Dog!

CPT Ronnie was amazing. He came through at the last minute as our original trip was canceled by the captain due to a family emergency. CPT Ronnie got us on fish before the first line was completely out and kept them coming for the next six hours. We will definitely be going back to CPT Ronnie for any future fishing trips.

Good trip and nice guy! He was communicative and prompt. There was a cooler to throw our drinks in and the boat was clean and in good condition. We had 6 people and caught lots of little fish and everyone got to reel in a shark.
